Pets like cats, dogs, rabbits, hamsters and chinchillas can
actually interact with you and it's so endearing when they come
running to you when you call them, or they follow you all over the
house, or snuggle up to you, stuff like that. 
For stingrays, you can't exactly enjoy any of the above.
THere's a limit to how 'close' you can get to aquatic
pets, I suppose.
I mean, I loved the carp and goldfishes in my aquarium and when
they died, I felt bad cause they were with me when they were tiny
and they grew very large and fat. But the loss I felt was nothing
compared to my heartbreak over my cats.
